computer video link question

Super off topic question for geeks and computer nerds

I know some of you here know about all kinds of things apart from flamenco

Q,,,what is the best common programme to use to link up with people over xmass

meaning ... as my family are all in different countries .. and have different equipment ... like PC .. Tablet Android phones etc.....

what would be the best programme to use to get us all on video type chat at the same time ,,,,,

some have whatsapp .....i dont know if that is good or bad .. or if it is for pc as well

confused ,,, hence the question .....

Skype is probably the best way to go. They now offer free group video calls for up to 9 connections. It used be chargeable.

yes i was thinking of skype but also facebook as most people have it installed already ....thanks i'll have a look around a bit

I believe the Facebook group video chat is supplied by Skype.

ok got it ... just experimenting with face bok on 2 tablets ... you have to put in another programme called SEEN .. but the sound quality is bad ,,,,

still i like messing about ... i will get somethimg

i think it may be well complicated to do that ,, especially if there are different levels .. it bad enough in one room .. the skype thing is to have more people from further away and really not travel anywhere ... and i think the people want personal attention as oppose to sharing ..

not off topic , mine has dwindled away and i got my answer as well....
