London, UK: Dani Allen seeks accompa...

Dani is a dance teacher looking for a guitarist to play for some of her classes. She writes:

The City Lit (1-10 Keeley Street, WC2B 4BA, Holborn / Covent Garden, www.citylit.ac.uk ), starting Tuesday 23 September.

It’ll be either

90mins (11:30-13.00)

OR

3hrs (11:30-14:30) fortnightly (depending on whether both level 1 and 2 classes run as planned or whether they become combined into one single course)

The guitarist will have a contract with the college and be paid by the college a month in arrears, around the 20th of the subsequent month; the guitarist’s ‘accompanist’ rate is about £20 an hour TBC.

The palos and choreographies are quite basic, and the ones we’ll be doing this year include Farruca, Fandangos de Huelva, Alegrías, Bulerías de Cadiz and Seguirillas.
