Robert Obrien guitar making online 
I searched for this on the site and found nothing. Does anyone have experience with this luthiers online course? I have woodworking skills making furniture and most general woodworking tools and would like to try and make some guitars. Right now I'm unable to travel to the European guitar making institute. Anyone have and thoughts and comments?

There are various books which can help - there are hundreds of you tube videos - buy a kit from Madinter and just do it...

He's legitimate, there is an article about him in the current issue of American Lutherie. (#117) He has a lot of tutorials on you tube that you can check out.

http://www.obrienguitars.com/courses/cc/ for the classical course. It is very thorough - more than any book I'd opine, although it's nice to have the books for reference. The course contains over two hours of video instruction on french polishing, too, and it is a relatively simple version of the process to get the hang of.

I'm gunna git me some of that 'just do it' stuff. Thanks for all the replies. Madinter has the Barbero template and plans I want and then I'll purchase most other tools and supplies from LMii. I start with the template so I can build the form. I've been watching the obrien vids and am thinking about buying the online course. Can't wait it's going to be frustrating and fun.
