abril 14 (the bush)

My village is right on the border between campiña (intensive farming, cereals and olive) and Andevalo (bush, extensive farming. Mostly kork oak and also some eucalyptus plantations)
Here I am, some 5 km from Beas up in the bush. April is the time of one of my favorite flowers "la flor de la jara pringosa". A very simple but very pretty flower. Very few people go there. There´s nothing but peace. I like to go there with the van. Just to stay from evening to next midday, play outside and let the dogs goof around axactly like they want. In Summer its extremely dry and hot.....

Beautiful pictures Anders.

Do you ever pass trees that could be used to make guitars? A small park/cemetery near a place I used to work had a few trees - I'd look at them and hope one day they'd make guitars! One a small Western Red Cedar, the other a English Walnut - maybe just large for guitars!

Yes, I pass some cypress trees, but in general they are to small, but out there in the bush, its only pine and stoneoak that survives and i dont think you can get much vibration out of that.
