it's unseasonally mild here though, today I saw a bumble bee, which I thought should be hibernating for another month or two at least.

in January last year (2013) we had minus 10 degrees recorded here (not normally that cold). On the same day this year we had plus 10.

Its been very mild here the whole winter as well and its been raining when its normally dry and dry when its normally raining. I think this word, "normally" is loosing its importance at least when it comes to weather.

Some weeks ago, in the Spanish north coast, they had average wave height of 13 meters and max height of almost 20 meters. Thats scary.

Icehockey, clean air, big lakes, space. It would take me a while to get used to the cold in winter, but it sounds fascinating and atractive and sometimes I think thats what I should do.

Thanks for that Anders. As I sat here waiting for my truck to warm up,wishing to be where you are. You turned it around and dreamed of a life here.
How cool is that!

You know, many places are exotic and I sometimes dream of living other places.

Two words come up again and again, Space and clean. I looked up your state and it enourmous, so I can imagine it to be cleaner and with more space than where I am. It also has to do with romantic boy dreams. When I was a kid, my parents were close to moving to Canada so it has always had a special sound in my ears, but I can imagine that I would freeze enormously if I went there right now. I´m not used to the cold anymore and Manitoba is 10 times colder than Denmark and Spain Together.
