RE: The foro is 10 YEARS old CONGRAT... (in reply to gerundino63)
Congratulations on the Foro reaching the first decade. And thanks for maintaining it and doing the heavy lifting, Simon. The Foro is a great place to congregate, discuss and debate flamenco, all musical genres, black holes, al-Andalus, politics, economics, genealogy, and the virtues of beer. May it live another decade and beyond.
Cheers,
Bill

Thanks for noticing. A lot has changed in 10 years. Some good, some not so, but the forum would not be what it is without all the members who participate. I just handle the plumbing.

I was searching some stuff, And stumbled on a post from july 2003....... Made me think the foro just started a few days when I joined in....
It is now 10 years old!
Congratulated Simon!
Yes, congratulations are in order. A lot has happened in the forum over the past decade. Meltdowns, dramatic exits (often followed by a low key return). In addition to flamenco it has been a source of interesting and unpredictable off-topic discussion: history, culture, travel. And of course overshadowing everything is the loss of Ron.M who was here from the beginning, and whose absence is still felt.
