RE: free flamenco guitar tab-updated... (in reply to rick

Sorry to hear it. Mabye its got something to do with either you system settings or your current version of table edit because i just downloaded tefveiw and tested a few of the solea files and it worked perfectly, at the moment im at a loss ill ask my brother what could be possibly happening there(hes into computers). Are you actually getting the file to save onto your computer o.k? Which file/s have you been trying, ill test them and make sure they actually work. Thanks

O.k i just tested a couple of the paco pena solea falsetas and it was behaving the way you described. I then tried them on an older demo ver. (2.5 beta) and they worked. Email me and i will send you this version. Not all the files do this, they were the first ones i found, but like i said they run fine on an older version.

Hola todo,

Dnld'd the first Buleria falseta. Trying to figure out the chords after the falseta! I can get close, but it's just not right.

I know (well...I THINK) it's first position, then 3rd, 4th, 3rd, 5th, then an open chord.

Sorry...My ear isn't that good!

Gracias,

Ramon

Hello Ramon the chords for that break after the first buleria falseta are,

e- 0 1 3 3 5 0
b- 2 1 3 3 5 2
g- 3 3 5 5 3 2
d- 2 3 5 6 0 2
a- 0 1 3 3 0 0
e- x 1 3 3 x x

the fourth chord is easily my favourite out of this bunch.

e- 0 1 3 3 x 0

Sorry to be a cretin but I assume these numbers represent frets stopped by the left hand. To me 2 3 5 6 0 2 seems impossible without growing extra fingers. Am I missing something (beyond the extra fingers )

Yes, read bottom to top instead of left to right eg this is E major:

0
0
1
2
2
0

This is E major followed by A major:

0--0
0--2
1--2
2--2
2--0
0--X

Thanks Jon Boyes, sorry i should have made it clearer it was just coincidence that there happened to be 6 chords so it was easy to read it as left to right instead of bottom to top!
