I am in the market to purchase a negra in the coming year or so, but looking to purchase something I can play first. I like in the U.S., so I'd be interested in purchasing from a luthier nearby if possible.
I currently own the Jose Reyes model Blanca from Francisco Navarro and am looking for an equal or higher caliber negra to finish my collection (for now). If anyone knows some of the high-quality luthiers in the U.S., Canada or Mexico, please let me know!
I know there are several in this forum, and I've even considered inquiring about one of Anders' guitars or one of Stephen's. If there are others on the forum I should consider, please include in your response.

RE: Beginning the search for a flame... (in reply to Wheater)
The maker of my negra is a luthier called David Macias, world class concert instrument. He makes guitars for Juan Serrano. He's located at Fresno California. I actually contacted him to make me another guitar but with a cutaway but sadly he doesn't so I have to find another maker too.
