what makes a good guitar

Hello all, I'm sure we all have different tastes and preferences. I always wonder what makes a good guitar? (rhetorical) we all know it's not all about the woods, dimensions, craftsmanship, etc...because it can have all that but it it is not pleasing to our ears. It just won't be a good guitar in our opinion.

Just something I've been pondering. As always comments are welcome.

Well, there are lots of answers to that question. But maybe the simple one is: the guitar you can't wait to get home to get you hands on; and when you do, the one that's hard to put down.
