Finally, something from Tomatito... that orchestral record didn't count since it barely had any new compositions (if any at all? I don't remember). Can't wait!
Edit - Yikes, I didn't realize that his last solo album was released almost ten years ago. That's crazy.

I liked Aguadulce... I consider that his last "real" album.

Yeah, same here, and it came out almost 10 years ago. Crazy!
Tomatito's "Soy Flamenco" will be released March 12.
Any idea in which countries it will be released? I just glanced at Amazon (US), and there's no listing for that album, despite the fact that it will be released in a couple of weeks. I hope this isn't going to be like Antonio Rey's most recent album (i.e. available only as an import).
Ok... I found it on pre-order on iTunes, with the Bulerias "Soy Flamenco" already available for purchase (or just pre-listen)... it sounds gooooooodddddd!!!
As of yesterday, it wasn't available on itunes in Canada - frustrating, as I was able to get Jesus de Rosario's new one a few weeks ago. I was hoping to start seeing more flamenco releases available immediately this year in Canada. I don't know the ins and outs of how these things become available to international markets, but it seems to me that the longer the delay is the chances increase that people will end up finding a pirated copy only to not follow up later with a purchase when it becomes available to them.
Totally underwhelmed by Tomate's CD ..... ugh ..... wish I could return it somehow and put the money towards something better
What is it that you don't like about it? It is not available on Itunes Italy and Spotify is not working in here for this album so i didn't put my hands on it yet.

ok now that french site got smart, its only playing a few secs from every track
