Rumba and sevillanas. I like flamenco fusion a la the guitar trio, but rare I can find people that I can play with. I can play some jazz standards but don't get much chances these days. I sing some pop rock and metal all the time just for myself.

Also love bach and play a little on my dad's classical guitar.

RE: what else do you play (in reply to rickm

On top of flamenco i play my own compositions/arrangements (various and often mixed styles) and Erik Visser's (and my own) 12 string compositions/arrangements. As a youngster i ear-played all the records of his band flairck (1 release a year). I guess i played their music a couple of hours a day from 1980 till 1985 covering both guitar,12 string guitar, banjo, citar, bouzouki and violin (they were all multi instrumentalist as well so what choice did i have).

This is Erik Visser playing a famous dutch song on 12 strings. He put it on record on my request and i happened to play it shortly afterwards when i auditioned for Paco Peña.

And this is one of Flairck's first television appearances. It's one of the few video's that captured there catchy energy (6:27>). Unfortunately flute player and co-founder Peter Weekers missed most of his notes in this recording, but over the years he proved to be one of the most gifted performers i ever saw on stage.

After 2 studio albums they released this life album (20 more albums would fallow). You can enjoy it as long as it is not banned by youtube (which might not be very long). I hope to record the original 12 string solo version of the piece played at 6:23 myself one day in order to add it as a youtube cover piece.

On electric guitar, I play 'Ghost Blues' a la Loren Mazzacane Connors etc and Drone.

On acoustic guitar, I've been learning a few bits of Irish music, but my mainstays are free raga and ragtime/blues.

Thanks for the info, I don't have a facebook page so I always miss stuff like this. I believe it though, he's always in and out and fighting with the other guys, he's probably going to go do some more wacky stuff with Mike Patton or something.

Besides playing flamenco and classical guitar, I also play a little piano.

And one of these days I'm going to get myself a full size piano.
