I finally found an acceptable metronome for my mobile phone(android). You can find it in Google Play. Its called Metronomo Flamenco. You can download the demo version for free. In the demo version you can use the Alegrias and Rumbas for unlimited time. You can try all the other palos, but only for a moment, good enough to get the idea. It includes Bulerías(modern, old style, al golpe, 6´s). Alegrias, Fandangos, Jaleos Rumbas, Seguiriyas, Sevillanas, Solea, Tangos, Tanguillos, Tiento and a only palmas. You can set the BPM to your own likings. Sound volume and quality are very nice. Also you can change the volume for palmas and cajon individually(for cajon haters ). It uses the clock to show the compas. I prefer Doctor compas, but don´t have and can´t afford an Iphone . The Pro version costs about 10,- eur. I´m using the demo version for now, but i´m really liking it and using it a lot. Great tool to stay in compas!!
RE: Flamenco Metronome for Android (in reply to koenie17)
Thanks koenie17...this is a great little app. I couldn't get it to work on my Galaxy Nexus so I sent the developer an email and had a reply within an hour. Before I could even do the steps requested, he already updated the app and sent me an email. I downloaded it again and it worked. I'm very impressed with his quick response and resolution. It's got nice feature and makes it easy to not have to take a metronome anywhere, just use my phone which is with me all the time anyways. Nice and convenient. I'll be upgrading to the paid version soon.
