Soleá Dance Course - Fuengirola

9, 10, 11, 12 October 2012:

Mega excitement! Juan Antonio Pérez (Flamenco Azabache) has agreed to teach Soleá at a Flamenco dance workshop in his Fuengirola studio, where he will be accompanied by the guitarist / singer Manuel Heredia "El Yunke" (who, incidentally, gives guitar classes at the studio - look at the Escuela timetable on Juan's website - Manuel will also do private lessons and prices are reasonable. )

Costing 160 euros, the Soleá course will run for 4 days, Tuesday - Friday, between 12.00 and 14.00 in Juan's studio and is suitable for students with some previous experience.
1. 12.00 - 12.30h warm-up and technique (body language, body positioning and footwork from the choreography).
2. 12.30 - 13.30h choreography.
3. 13.30 - 14.00h palmas course, which includes structure of the dance and palmas for several palos.

This is a brilliant time to visit Fuengirola. Everything is walking distance, the sea is warm, the sand is clean, the shops are close by and it's FERIA time (6-12 October each year)!

Feria details for 2012 are not published yet, but for a taste of what you might expect, Google "Feria del Rosario" Fuengirola.

30 minutes from the airport, easy access to Malaga (train - 2/3 euros) and plenty of accommodation to suit all budgets.

Flamenco Holidays will be managing reservations and payment on Juan's behalf. Rest assured that the price advertised is the amount that will fully be passed on to Juan.
