STRINGS

HI,GOT MY FIRST GUITAR A FEW WEEKS AGO AND WAS WONDERING WHAT STRINGS TO BUY FOR IT WHEN I NEED SOME,DONT NEED AND YET BUT NOT SURE ABOUT THE DIFFERENT BRANDS AND TENSIONS,ARE ALL STRINGS FOR FLAMENCO NYLON,WHICH GIVE THE BRIGHTEST SOUND,THANKS

well you never said what guitar you have ..........
and if you play hard or soft etc .....the kind of strings that you like and that suit you is a one of these topics that go on forever .....
However ........I think a good starting point is D'addario EJ45's normal tension these are pretty good, inexpensive, and last a long time ... most people here know then so you can adjust from that point onward, like need more bass or treble or post a vid to get some feed back etc ...etc....

I been playing a while now and thats what I use anyway , although sometimes I use the light tension version as well ............

OK THANKS FOR THAT,IVE GOT A EAIMUNDO MODEL 125 AND ONLY BEEN PLAYING A FEW WEEKS SO DONT KNOW A LOT AND IF I PLAY HARD OR SOFT BUT WHEN I NEED SOME STRINGS ILL TRY THE ONES YOU RECOMEND,THANKS

Just go for D'addario EJ45 for the rest of your life - cheap, durable, reliable intonation. I think I'm going to apply for a job at their marketing department!

Nerrad1--not sure if you know this but using all capital letters is considered to be, in e-mail/posts, shouting or exclaiming loudly. Just an FYI. As for strings, check out Stringsbymail.

TRY FEKKING SAVAREZ RED CARD HIGH TENSION.
COST A FEKKING LOT OF MONEY AND DON'T LAST LONG.
BUT I THINK THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE AFTER IMO.
MAKES A CRAP GUITAR SOUND GREAT.
BRIGHT.
REALLY BRIGHT.
FOR THREE FEKKING DAYS.
THEN BUY ANOTHER BASS SET.

All capitals is used for acronyms. He's speaking in some sort of code.

if you type in capitals it means you're shouting. Even if you aren't meaning to shout. it's just a convention of the internet/email etc.

And most people reply in lower case 'cos they don't want to shout back, so you still have the problem of reading what people write back to you, no?

why not type in lower case and just set your screen to display larger type? I have know other people who can't see so well do this.
