Perhaps he felt it was artistically cohesive as released.

That's nice and all, but can it really compare to... Cepillo playing upright bass??

thankfully Gerardos music has other qualities than the use of superhuman technique. It sounds different of course, but he'll even be an incredible composer without hands.
We, the listeners, should now look at his music in a different light.
