if you are in australia , i could sell mine to you cheaply since i have 8 guitars. my cheapest one is vincente sanchez fl33 blanca with spruce top , it was over aud $2000 , but i will sell it to you as you want, since i don't play it anymore.

The Navarro Student would be a good choice for you. You could pick up one on EBay for $700, maybe less. Also someone enquired about this same price range over on the foro classifieds, and a fellow posted guitars that he has for sale. He had a Montalvo negra for $500, and that would be a good option as well. I don't have anything against the Cordoba line, but for what I like to hear out of a flamenco, most of the Cordobas don't cut it. If your playing mostly "popular music" the Cordoba will be fine. If you want a true flamenco though, they may not be what the DR. ordered... The bridge height is to high for comfortable golpes...
