Congratulations. Mr. Tsiorba makes really beautiful instuments. I'm sure yours will not be any different. However I'm a bit confused- what will be made out of maple and what will be made out of walnut? Both are back and side woods. Will he be using some kind of combination of the two like those half cypress/half rosewood guitars? In any event I'm sure it will be both an eye and ear pleaser.

Maple and Walnut are both really nice woods for a blanca, oops I'm mean Blangra or is it half blanca half blangra, er maybe its mulato.
She will be a real one of a kind stunner anyway you slice it

Wow , nice photos.
I like the darker strap of the back and the olive-wood (is it olive?) rosette.
Should be a really beautiful guitar.

From what I understood maple is considered to be a blanca but sounds more like a negra , right?

Seems....epic. Maybe your combination of woods is going to become the new sound.

Yes Sir! Nice! Incorporating the red accent strip is sweet! I love the idea...

I haven't played enough maple blancas to be able to give a great opinion, but those that I have played were nice. They were somewhat like a negra, but didn't seem to have the unwanted (for me at least its unwanted) boom on the E and A strings... In short, in my little experience, maple gives more negra like trebles, but is well balanced across the bass and treble. Some negras just have to much "low end" on the E and A, but that's just me talking. And before someone gets the wrong idea, I love negras, have one on order from Castillo now.

This instrument will be a great Queen for the King! Tell Peter to hurry the hell up! The thoughts of all of these colors going into this thing just makes my mouth water!

Congratulations King!

I have a Maple backed from Peter.I play it every day. It's now 1 1/2 years old.I think it sounds like a Blanca (as it is Blanca; big leaf maple)Historically maple was a common wood for back and sides.Nice balance ;great attack, easy to play ;what else ?

Woohoo! Man that is nice King! Let me know if you ever want to sell it. LOL Nothing but perfection from Peter as usual. I think you made some great choices and this is a 1 of a kind! I may be as excited to hear it speak as you are!

Regardless of materials used, Peter always gets a very nice sounding guitar along with great play-ability and nice looks. I think the maple with the walnut B & S with the spruce top may give you a bit more brightness than Spanish, Mediterranean, or Monterrey cypress with spruce top, but who knows, a wild guess at best. The Juniper (a cypress family) B & S guitar I recently got from Peter is somewhere in between a fine Spanish cypress and an old Brazilian rosewood in tone. Ultra sweet trebles and basses that growl with lots of volume. The top is no doubt a factor being Port Orford Cypress.

The guitar is certainly looking great and I'm sure it will sound the same way.
I love seeing the pictures of it coming together, but somehow I imagined that the back woods would be reversed with the maple in the middle.
Probs as well I don't make guitars.

The guitar left my shop, and I thought I'd add few more photos of the completed project. Thank you Rumbanking. I've enjoyed creating this guitar and hope it will bring new songs and inspiration to you and to listeners.
