Hi Nealf To my info, Gerundino has stopped building guitars since about 10 years or so. But remember he had still a lot of guitars when he stopped. I heared stories of unfinished Gerundino's that where finished by other builders. They where finished allready, exept the bridge had to be put on, and the laquer had to put on too. I can give you a tip, On all the gerundino's I have seen, there is a stamp carving, behind the headstock of the guitar.( the place where the headstock meets the fingerboard at the back) I have seen two different stamps, one very old guitar had a "G" stamped there, on the other ( late 70ties) had carverd there "GERUNDINO ALMERIA " I have played on the newer too, the unfinished ones, and they are too very good. But have no stamp carving. But for investment, it is better to have one with the stamped carving. Peter P.S. My english is so, so, with a stamped carving, I mean a character literaly stamped in the wood without any inkt.
