Cante Concert and Workshop w/ Curro ...

Pedro Corona Heredia “Curro Cueto” was born in Marchena in 1966. He grew up in Plaza Arriba, a neighborhood where many other flamencos lived including the famous accompanist Melchor Marchena. He studied both solfegio and flute at the Conservatorio de Málaga and continued later in Córdoba. He worked with artists of the highest caliber such as El Güito, Manolete, El Chino, Enrique de Melchor, Serranito, Angel Rubio y la Big Band del Foro, Digitano, and was co-founder of Triada Sur. His recordings include “Flamenco Vivo,” “Pasar del tiempo” and “A mí, Atiphic”; with Triada Sur: “Andalucía, Está llorándome el alma,” and “Sabor a tí”; “Jazz Hondo” with Ángel Rubio; and “Digitano” with Juanjo Valmorisco. He is also a skilled teacher and has written both "El Flamenco en su medida" and "Método de cante y ritmo flamenco."
