I think my setup is good enough, im not sure if you have seen my video.

it cost me about $500 total.
$200 mic
$200 audio interface
$100 - cables+stand + tax

if you want perfect audio, then you have to as Todd =)

for video.. just any high def webcam would suffice, as long as you have enough lighting and not record in the dark (ala mr florian)..

try the HP range, I've seen a mate's webcam and it's freaking clear..

for audio, you can either use the inbuilt mic or wait for Todd to chip in about the high fidelity audio.
