MusicGogy

Hi all. I am developing a music-learning social network called MusicGogy.

I am posting it here at Foro Flamenco in order to get feedback from a small community. I am a practicing Flamenco guitarist myself, and I am extremely interested to hear your initial reactions to the concept of MusicGogy.

MusicGogy aims to reach out to people who are learning music as well as teachers who are looking for more ways to monetize their efforts.

We are all familiar of the massive array of music-teaching websites out there, using subscriptions for access to private video lessons.

MusicGogy looks to consolidate these by creating a social environment where, like Google+ or Facebook, users will be able to connect with Teachers, their Students, and other people.

More importantly, MusicGogy will offer an array of tools for Teachers to create lessons and make their lives easier, including online composition software, video uploading and annotating, supplemental material uploads, live video feeds, testing, awards and certifications. MusicGogy can also automatically inject music theory into your lessons.

For students, browse the network using your personal music tastes, or dwell into reviews to see what teachers have high remarks. Also view your personal progress with info-graphic reports about lessons you've completed.

All users will have a home page to manage their repertoire, and view the latest from fellow Teachers & Students.

MusicGogy is currently in development.

Let me know what you all think, ideas that you would love to have, or any initial negativity feelings

Thank you

MusicGogy is nearing release! We've revamped our initial goals since the last time I posted here. Our application is now geared toward guided composing, reading, and sharing music online.

If you're interested, go ahead and signup for our prelaunch list to get first access!
