How did you feel exactly the first time you came to andalucia?

I thought I was going to burst with happiness, or burst into tears. I was happy I was there and sad as I would have to leave, and determined to find a way to be here all the time.

Some things have not changed, the sun still shines, the light is still blinding, the mountains have not moved, the accent can still be inpenetrable, all the restaurants carry the same menu. Some things are better, I know more about good wine now, I appreciate flamenco more, my Spanish improved, I can make people laugh. The changes make me sad, old ladies no longer wear black, you dont see donkeys in town, more cars, no smoking in bars, the Eshavira closed down and I am so much older now.

I dont think of you as a baby, more like a bird leaving its nest, testing its wings

And some small concerts:

This is the old (2010) program, but it happens every year. Its mostly in small peñas in small villages, but also in Huelva City.
NB, this basically Cante Jondo and some fandangos. Not the other way round.
