Can I give you a tip about the website? The picture of the guitarneck is very low res. Try to make it smaller. It will look better and give the website a more serious feel
And also sometimes it's hard to read the text because of the background pic. Maybe you can try to make the text white instead of grey.
nice article about sevillanas. It could help me a lot, since I know nearly every palo but never digged into sevillanas yet.
I am very curious to the article about flamenco harmony.
One more tip: make the link to the mp3 file "open in new window", this way people can hear the recording and still are able to read stuff on the website. Now it's "open in parent window"
If you need any help with the website just tell me, I am a web designer
thank you romerito very generous and a great initiative subscribed as a follower welcomed resource... nice sevillanas...onto it now..welcomed alzapua close! very neat..! not sure about the harmony section...guess its a work in progress so will wait and see... be interesting to see the musical language you use...ie contempory harmony language like por medio being based on phrygian dominant harmony..etc....upper extensions on chord voicings...or some other system... keep posting !!
Although there is much I like about the foro, there are a few things that I do not. So I am starting a blog for those aspiring newbies, or even advanced guitarists, who want to contribute to a larger discussion through musical examples.
great man, good idea and it looks great , i have added it to my bookmarks ...but not sure ...whats wrong with having those kind of discussions and threads here ?...since we are all here anyway...the good thing about being here is that you will always get fresh and different opinions cause there's always new people coming in..
of course it would be ideal and make it easier to organize and categorize if one day we had a designated cante accomp section
Instead of any kind of pensive argument, you get allusions to Einstein or talk of poodles. Let's see, Ricardo has not been here much, Jason is kicked off. I'd much rather hear their musings. At least they can back up their arguments.
learned long ago not to get too deep into it with her. anyway, it would be cool to have a one on one convo about some of the stuff you brought up including carrion's accomp. Give me a call sometime. It is hard to simply type info to get a point across.
