OMG I'm too late!!!!!
I got the dates totally mixed up! I thought entry deadline was May 31st, and the three day judgement period started then.

Triple-kowtow and grovel, grovel, grovel, grovel for my blooper

Kudos for the participants, especially for changue!!

I have a question, do you need a nylon string guitar to play flamenco? I have almost no knowledge of this style and I really like it. Please helo (:

Hi Ehiers!

Yes, you should play it on a nylon guitar if you want to get the flamenco sound. Otherwise if you are playing on a steel string guitar it will sound too metallic and you will get no flamenco sound at all.

Also you better play on nylon if you don't want to destroy your fingers and nails with the steel strings

Im sure you can find some posts here for people starting to play flamenco.

Cheers
