Miguel Poveda show
saw miguel poveda last night at sadlers wells in london!
the show was fantastic. i took a friend who'd never been to see any flamenco and had only listened to couple of solo guitar albums and he was blown away. was stunned by how poveda can sing like he does.
i cant write a decent review...sorry
no chicuelo on guitar (which i was a bit sad about) but it didnt matter.
jesus guerrero was absolutely amazing. i think he had a real personal style which i really enjoyed along with some devastating technique and rythym. found this vid of him
bumped into orson from foro there, as we seem to usuallly do.
Good for you Stu, I'm glad you saw him. I know what you mean, we saw his concert in Madrid a couple of years ago, it was amazing, one of the best concerts of any kind that I've ever seen.
