Guitar Pro question

Guitar Pro 6 wants an Intel Mac, which I don't have — I have a PowerPC Mac running OS 10.4.11. Version 5 isn't sold any more.

I can probably buy version 5 second hand. But — does it support PowerPC Macs, or do I have do go back to Version 4 or before?

RE: Guitar Pro question (in reply to Paul Magnussen

have you tried the free program called tux guitar? it is very similar to guitar pro 5, it plays all the guitar pro tabs up to 5 that i have tried, and does power tabs too

it doesn't have a rse emulator though

just google search tuxguitar because i dont want to make a link

is it illegal to download a torrent of guitar pro 5 now that its not available? I dont understand the downloading laws

p.s sorry i didn't address the question about gp6 and a mac. i am running 5.2 on a pc

Many thanks, Marduk, that worked perfectly.

I'm afraid it is -- not that that stops a lot of people.
