dynamic mic shock mount 

this thing works great when you're working with dancers and you dont want to get the vibrations of their footwork, or vibrations from anything else for that matter, into your microphone.



simple and very effective!

and if you're looking for a cheap but effective low profile boom stand....

i went for the tripod base because it's more portable and, from what i've read, transfers less vibrations than a weighted base. but be careful because if you extend the boom arm too much, it WILL be easy to tip over. but overall, good buy for under 30 bucks total.

yeah i really dig it. they make ones for condensers too but they're probably not as effective as that expensive stuff.
