What currency is dlls? and where are you in the world Luis? I'm just curious, because I cannot add to your questions, since I havent tried any of the guitars, but as far as I know they are both what we call small factory guitars, meaning that all the preparation has been done at one of the major factories, and the guitars themselves have been assembled by selected workers at a smaler plant.

OK, my two cents - if this is the Conde Esteso, I did not rate the only one I have played. A poor factory finish, nothing special (for the money). I have not heard anything good or bad about Alhambras so that leaves the Reyes, which I have heard good things about but those were concert models.

Luis,
In my opinion you have better options available.
You need to email Tom at www.lafalseta.com Tom is a forum menber (El Zurdo) and a top notch dealer. He will send you down the right path. He also speaks Spanish.

Just out of curiosity Simon, this wouldn't be Emilio Maya's Conde would it? I know you had a couple of lessons from him and must have had a shot of his guitar.

Nah, it was in Jerez. I didn't try Emilio's Conde, never occured to me (I will try next time and report).
