Ramzi,

What can I say....you're incorrigible man..

Main thing about the guitar IMO is that you should enjoy playing otherwise it's a waste of time.
So your OK.

Seriously though, I think you would enjoy one of those little effects units to experiment with.
The effect I was thinking about was the one that does a decaying "repeat" effect.

Not "echo" or "reverb", but the sound fed back some milliseconds later.

Do you know what I mean?

(You used to get it on the Watkins "Copycat" tape loop unit in the Stone Age. )

I think it would definitely be good on the "damped" rasgueado playing.

Maybe you can get it as an add on to those software recording/editing programs?

cheers,

Ron

Yeah that effect WOULD be pretty immense! I used to have a real-time effects processor on my PC somewhere. I'll have a look around for it.

Ole!

cool, why not? music is music
i have a lack of flamenco inspiration ATM, so i'm back to jazzguitar practicing wes montgomery, marc ribot and cindy lauper tunes.. changing repertoire is something creative i think.

Think about doing your own dance mix from the ground up.

You never know. Just one dance floor classic aimed at the Spanish/South American markets is all it takes and you've made enough to buy yourself a nice house.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure you live in a lovely house but you know what I mean.

You're right mate. I should try making one. I need to fiddle around with the right software though.

I like this, but then again I am pretty open minded anyway....as long as you don't match siguiriyas to Lady Gaga vocals...

And while we're on the topic of blasphemic fusion, Pitingo's new album comes out in 2 weeks and I can't wait.

Now there's a thought.

I should try to accompany Pitingo.
