Sunday afternoon sunbeam 

Had to share catching a sunbeam in the kitchen today. Kind of relaxes me.

That is pretty cool. Is it difficult to capture an image like this? I don't recall seeing anything like this before.

Photoshop dude! Simon is sitting on the chair with a large halogen lamp and then he erased himself out of the image

(actually he is just showing off his new Canon 550)

You better watch out Simon...I bet the Religious cults will give you a very different interpretation of this.

It could also be a light probe from a flying saucer trying to beam you up to carry out experiments.

I sticking with my cheap options for the moment. A used Sigma 17-70mm, which I love for everything else and the Canon 1.8 50mm for low light. It's plasticky but great value and very sharp.

Yeah the Nikon is the same. I think of it more as a high end disposable lens.
