Anders Eliasson 2008 2A blanca - SOLD
Hey guys, for sale is my Anders Eliasson 2A blanca, the usual 52mm nut, 650 scale. Spruce top cypress sides. Very aggressive and punchy, typical great Anders workmanship. Been played by the previous owner at performances, used by me at home only. Condition is great, there are multiple tiny surface scratches on the face of the guitar, nothing a new french polish coat won't fix. At the bridge, at the low E, there is a slight chip on the bridge, I posted about this on the foro before and Anders replied saying it's no problem. At the back of the guitar, right at the bottom, when I received it, it was lying on the case's key so there's a dot there where it has pierced the french polish and is through to the wood.
reason for selling is that I bought a Macias negra from Orson here and I've decided I like a negra's sound to a blanca's sound, sweetness compared to the dryness. I think I might get my teacher to record something with the Anders to give it a better picture on how it sounds.
$2300 Australian dollars, comes with the case in the pictures. Willing to take less money if it's money + maybe your unwanted things, like the la guitarra flamenca teaching DVDs by gerardo, maraito etc etc
p/s-the strength of euro has really dropped a lot lately so I seriously think it's not such a good price for European buyers, it's better for you guys to buy new from Anders himself. He makes great guitars. Good for Australian/New Zealand/Asian/American buyers because of cheaper shipping.
I'm happy to take returns but the shipping has to be borne by the buyer.
Testing/viewing available in Sydney. 5 days test period.

This is a tremendous opportunity, really. The guitar sounds great. Incidentally, if the sole reason you are selling it is the unrelenting grip of a new negra, I would recommend storing this fabulous blanca in the attic. Eventually you may miss the haunting sound of cypress, and you may regret letting this go –just a thought.

Thanks Michael! Actually that IS the only real reason why I'm selling this guitar, and I though because I'm a beginner, I don't need 2 great guitars. BUT regret is something that I have thought about. I was taking it to the post office to get a quote for this potential buyer when he called to cancel, and I was actually a little relief. I'm actually quite torn between keeping it and selling to fund my 10 weeks holiday in a month time.
I play this guitar about 30% and the negra about 70% of the time. So it's still getting plenty of action =)
