So.

It looks much worse in print actually!

They played the original clip from the Letterman show on the BBC World Service and Robin Williams was just being his usual outrageous self and it was funny with no hint of malice, (with Williams putting on a heavy Barry Humphries Aussie accent and being really brash and crazy.)


I don't see how anyone could get upset unless they badly needed a humour transplant.

This is what I was talking about earlier.. about PC ruling...

I agree with you Ron, although it's not too surprising when politicians jump at the opportunity to defend potential voters. They must not realize how pathetically obvious it is.

I once saw a well-known flamenco singer "work the crowd" to similar effect. He said something like, "...because there are some people here tonight who understand what they're hearing..." (trailing off dramatically). A few days later and hundreds of kilometers away, he said exactly the same thing!

You could say that Agujetas' strategy is a little different!

I did a gig recently in central queensland. When i looked at the poster for the gig it said, Come along and get a free singlet. The organizers were handing them out on the night. Lol!!

hahah that Andrew guy from your city did a gig in a rural australia place at some pub and the owner of the pub introduced them as..."And now...i dont know ...some wogs name..."

apparently they packed up and ran through the back door

And we were hired to play at the Oysterfest...in the country somewhere...they flew us all the way from Adelaide...paid for accomodation, paid good money for food, transport etc...then they put our show at the same time as the was a planes doing tricks in the sky and we were playing outdors and at exactly the same time as the footy grand final....

and the night before we wanted to go look at the stage ...the security wouldnt let us go in...unless we got tickets lol
