Keep it and play it for a year, a two month old guitar has a LONG way to go before
it opens up. It WILL be a different guitar by then. You're probably not happy with
the sound now, which is the only reason you'd want to sell it so soon (I'm
guessing). Some times they can sound muddy, or dull a bit when new, which
totally changes over time.

I agree with n85ae, even though I haven't heard the guitar I'll bet my life that the thing hasn't even opened up yet.

How much do you want for it if you were to sell it outright?

Greetings Gents,
Well I actually, LOVE the sound of the guitar AND the playability. However, think of it like this. It is every race car drivers dream to drive a Lamborghini, right. A Lamborghini IS a Lamborghini, it is not a BMW or Vette or a Shelby Mustang. I just want to drive that Lamborghini u know ~

LOL! df

It's difficult to place a dollar value on an SC since GSI and SC both charge a high price to us customers, but SC offers the same guitars for less in Mexico and S. America. The high price is also a new thing--a forum member bought a new one a few years ago for $2,200 USD. The few used SC's I've seen on ebay have sold for less than $1,000...

You'll regret it. Keep it man.

If you've got some spare cash at a later date you can then bring your Castillo with you when you try out a Conde just to see if you REALLY want it or it's just a bad case of GAS.

What should that mean? I would be happy to read the opinion of those people -hopefully some of them might read this- who already had a castillo and sold it for some reason??? just wonder why? 'cause some guys here on the foro seemed to be very satisfied with their SC

I sold one recently for $1500.00 and one about a year ago for the same price. I was very happy with the guitars, and I still have 3 Castillo's. Maybe when I get down to owning just 2 guitars I will stop selling. But one thing for sure I am taking a break from buying

I wouldn't be concerned by this at all. People sell for a lot of reasons--dissatisfaction being only one. Someone sold an A25 last year for under $5,000 USD and the price at GSI was $12,500 USD. I'd love to get my hands on an SC and from what I've read quality is consistently high. It's re-sale value that is the issue for most musical instruments and it can be problematic for those who bought new and want to sell but great for those willing to buy used.

I would have done the same thing. If you ever want to get rid of your Peg Head SC, drop me a note.

besides, we are going into summer and we all know what happens to the cost of gas in the summer lol!

LOL. Two years ago I sold a beautiful big orange Gretsch 6120dsw. It felt wrong at the time and two years later I still kick myself every now and then.

I'd love to pick up a Castillo at some point in the next few years when my playing can justify it.

when you have your Lambourgini I would like to have race with you,

I bring my Seat Leon, I am 100% I will win with my Jose Manuel Fernandez

guitar, if you win you can have my guitar, if I win we can throw the conde

into the fire, it makes better use like that, at least produces some heat.

Seat Leon is a good car.
But don't exaggerate now
