Account Suspended

My account on YouTube, CuerdasDulces, was just suspended/disabled

I had some great vids on there. Why would they do this???

maybe because of copyrighted material ?
maybe someone complained.

i remember a guy with hundreds of flamenco videos , who was deleted because of such a reason.

ok, i found out why.

Encuentro Productions is the reason.

you uploaded a video from an Encuentro DVD (Moraito) recently.
and they complained.

this happened also in the past to others.

sorry, don't know if you can reactivate your account.
maybe write an email to youtube

Yes encuentro... They are sooooo slooooowww with producing some more stuff... but so fast in securing their copyrights. I think its ok they let youtube block the people but they should work a little faster on new stuff!
So sad...Miguel Angel Cortes will be the next one because I had a workshop with him...and I guess he wont show more than the usual stuff he teaches in any town for years...and the stuff of his 2 CDs...and the interesting stuff is already transcribed.. So.. .... we need other players for the new encuentro material.. :./

i got about 3 short videos that i thought were funny from spanish tv ...i better delete em

did they give you a chance to explain yourself ? contest it ? how would they know u not affiliated with encuentro

what i find unfair is, that they delete the complete account !
why don't they just delete the problematic video ?
it is like dropping an atomic bomb and destroy everything to be sure...or something...

Actually I forgot that they had already warned me. My first video was a clip from chicuelos video and they deleted that. I think they should have just deleted the one video instead of my whole account. They should have at least told me to take it off myself. O well, at least at_leo and others got a chance to see what medio campas is. What sucks is that some of the videos I dont have anymore on my PC.

So yeah guys, dont upload Encuentro stuff!
they will hunt you down

..... theres no encuentro on rapidshare.......a friend ...told me.........and i didnt even ask......he just came up and said , " - hey flo, havent seen you in ages theres no encuentro videos on rapid share.....not that you would download any if there were because i know how you love to pay for everything"

Cuerdas even with 1 warning is unfair...it should be 2 out of 3 ....or double or nothing

rapidshare sucks...its too slow for non members

funny is, i downloaded many things in the past, then i got bad conscience and bought many things from which i had the copy already. for instance Chicuelo Encuentro, Gerardo Nunez Encuentro, and many CDs.... i have the original now.
as soon as i could afford them, i really ordered the original afterwards (ok, i have to admit that i didn't bought the original CD from JM)

it is really unfair, specially in flamenco.
i mean someone like Chicuelo is not some popstar with millions of records sales daily.
we should really support these guys (even if a part goes to Encuentro lol)

and then you can call a time out...and if thats not enough u can request video rewind....

speaking of wich ...amazes me that rugby has video referee and replay and use it but the idiots running the football worldcups are too stubborn to use technology

years ago encuentro went after youtube cuz all their stuff was up. Youtube sent a robot after the tags of anything of theirs. I had some private vid of Gerardo that got taken off, and also poveda with Chicuelo. I contacted encuentro and they were sorry but it was youtube not THEM after me. So we knew about this for years now. I guess the robots got smarter so they allow the artists names but the specific encuentro clips get hunted?

Anyway, you can trick the robots and still use youtube to upload by not tagging the vid as anything related to the artists or flamenco guitar, like "dog and cat are friends" kind of thing, and still link em to us. But ideally you should take em down after your point is made.

Edit, encuentro are not in spain, they are Swiss. Shyzer! unt oder wideeo jeest oooploded on youtube.

Thats wierd because I didn't put any tags for the moraito video I uploaded.
I'm thinking there are some encuentro spies here in the foro...

Anyways, I made a new account, Tresxmedio...I could'nt think of anything else lol, thats my favourite tone for bulerias. I can try to upload some of the videos I had in my old account. Any requests?

If there are encuentro spies here they should listen to me and hurry up with a new encuentro book! And somebody else than Miguel Angel Cortes. There are so many interesting players.... Why the one whose compositions are almost all already well known??
I listened to the 2 CDs of Miguel A Cortes for the last few days and found many great parallels with some compositions that I heard from Gerardo Nunez. M.A.C. even uses 1:1 falsetas from Jucal in a rumba...
I heard M.A.C. recorded the new CD in Gerardos cellar...so the parallels can be explained. But I was a little shocked when I listened to his first album Patriarca and heard at so many places exactly Gerardos stuff... Who took material from whom?
