Hey don't worry man, you still look OK.

I had to get a passport type picture taken today for my free bus pass.

I look like I'm serving 10 to 15 years in Barlinnie for GBH.

cheers,

Ron

gerundino must be a severe father.
his son is drinking coke instead of a cold beer like both of you.

and tarantino....well, i think escribano looks better than tarantino, but tarantino is much friendlier than escribano

Ailsa, be alert from now on. You could be working on a falseta when you get the message "Mrs. Palo - we're needed!"

Then gj will roll up to collect you in this:

Escribano, cool crib... 'hope smoking remains allowed there.

I love the marble-checker floors (had it in the lobby of the first law firm I opened in NY). Quite a subject this turned out to be, we should segregate it under the heading: “house and garden” or “architectural digest”.

Estevan, that is not a car, that is a proper automobile !!

Hey...anyone remember this little British modern Classic from "The Prisoner"?
("I am a Flamenco guitarist...I am not a number!" )

I think gj would be much more stylish driving Ailsa around London in this...
(Especially he in his Bowler hat and her in her knee length, leather stilletto-heeled boots and mini skirt!)

cheers,

Ron

Oh Simon, like, DUHHHH!

It's a 1932 Alfa-Romeo 6c; we're talking about our gj here, not Patrick MacNee. It's all been translated.

Ron: The Lotus 7 is certainly fun, but it doesn't correspond to the level of elegance we're accustomed to from our hero. I mean, which one goes with the room, the Lotus or the Alfa? Really.

IMO it's the Lotus 7 without a doubt.

The juxtaposition shows style rather than mere staid display of wealth and position IMO.

cheers,

Ron

On the other hand, your Amsterdam pictures are very cool.

I like this thread that combines Inspiring Spaces, Action Autos, friends, wine and beer, with music all around.

That sums it all up handsomely, Estevan, a thread to celebrate the unexpected friendships one could forge on this Forum. As Jason said “flamenco chooses its victims” … there is our bond and camaraderie.

Cheers
[as Ron would say]

Nice digs. Bet you were missing Venice when you chose the decor for that room.

So why no sound clip?

I suppose it is true "you can take the boy out of the country, not the country out of the boy".

You are absolutely right Pgh, I too regret not having preserved some of Jason's elaborate performance along with some very sweet falsetas Estebana played to check my guitars. Always comforting to see a luthier play (and sound) well on a flamenca.
At the same time, recording devices and video camera could have compromised the spontaneity of the moment.

As well as Flamenco, it is a strong color that can bring up a bunch of conflicting emotions. Red is love, pain, passion. It can also be violent. Red is me I think lol.

This forum must be the only place in the world where a naked Conde drapped languidly over the body of a lamboughini is more of an eyeful than a leggy model.
