Thursday, September 24 – Dinner Show at Moroccos’ Restaurant San Jose

Two wonderful guitarists present an evening of mesmerizing classical and flamenco music, paired with delicious Moroccan cuisine at Moroccos’ Restaurant in San Jose.

Meet Michael Bautista and you will find that he has a passion for music, life, and learning. Michael has a Master's Degree in Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. He is also a songwriter and a dedicated teacher of both guitar and mathematics. Michael Bautista was one of the top 5 guitarists in the Christopher Parkening International Guitar Competition, the world's preeminent classical guitar competition in 2006. Michaels' performances have captivated audiences since he was a teenager. He has performed the "Concierto de Aranjuez" for the Ambassador of Spain, given a solo performance for Senator John Kerry, and in 2005 was honored to perform as a soloist in Carnegie Hall. www.michaelbautista.com

Grisha is renowned for his musical sensitivity and technical virtuosity. As a master of both flamenco and classical styles, he has created a new genre all his own and garnered praise from guitar luminaries Paco de Lucía, Christopher Parkening, and Eliot Fisk. Grisha is a favorite on YouTube, generating over a million views for his videos, and has a large world-wide following. In May 2005 Mr. Goryachev received a special prize for the Best Performance of Spanish Music at the VI International Classical Guitar Competition "Julian Arcás" in Almería, Spain.
