RE: Make your request for tablature here (in reply to abraham)
I once spent six months transcribing that Alegrias in mid 90's, but can't remember a single bar, wish I wrote it down, Its a mamoth peice, very classical sounding, I doubt you will ever find it, I have the Faucher Tarrantos. Dave

Hi everyone,
Does anyone here have a tab for Nino Ricardo's Zambra? I heard a version by Paco Pena on his 'Essential Flamenco Recordings' CD and I couldn't find any tabs or scores on it. Any help would be appreciated..

Does anyone have a tab for the track "Alcazaba" (granaina) from the Estrella Morente CD "My songs and a poem". I learned the first part of it from Alfredo Mesa at Carmen de las Cuevas in Granada and would like very much to learn the rest. If you have it I would appreciate it greatly.

yeah, me too, I saw someone playing it who figured it out, I think it starts in e to a f chord but has several embellishments that make it tricky. From there I dont know.

I can play those picados at 135Bpm when no one is looking lOLOL...I too struggle with those picado scales, but recently I have been practising those Barossa picado scales and some mornings I come down stairs pick up the guitar, and after a little warm up can play them at 125 bpm, and then I can't!!!!LOL it is a bugger of a technique!!
Old paco de lucia uses the old vaseline, maybe I shoud give that a try, it makes sense, less friction means more speed!!!
This tab section is brilliant i didn't realise there was such a bounty of tabs and scores to be had....i must get a scanner and do my bit...
I wish i could hear you Jon with Mercedes sometime, let me know when the gig is going to happen,

I also have the book you have. It a Live recording from "live in America" (as i suppose you know). He plays it diffrent from the Studio version that appeard on "sirocco". I also have "la barossa" from that recording. Tab by Alain Faucher. Other versions i wouldn´t trust.

If I recall correctly, to play those runs at tempo and keep in time they need to be at around 190bpm. Utter madness.
When I play Entre live, I flip out a pick for that section. Even then I usually chicken and go for something simpler

190bpm?????? Ouch no wonder that is why he uses the Old Vaseline, his fingers would blister alll up with the heat?
