Too bad, 'cause I'm not buying a new phone for this software. Maybe you'll reconsider if you take a look at marketability.

Exitao: Like I said, I didn't do it for the money, I did it cause it was fun, and for me (stress for me) it is not fun to program on windows mobile. Maybe Ron can port his metronome which runs on windows.

there already is one for Windows... the Graf Martinez one. But compare the price...

And how about features? The Graf Martinez (which I own by the way) doesn't sound as good, nor is it programmable. The Graf one sounds... well... it sounds like a metronome. I think mine sounds more like a Solo Compas track with graphics.

gshaviv, does it run on the iTouch?

Yes, it does run on the ipod touch, minus the vibrate option which the ipod doesn't have.

gshaviv -> New release of flamenco metronome for ipod/iphone (Mar. 17 2009 21:53:14)

Just released an updated version of the flamenco metronome for the iphone. The new versions has an online database of compas loops users can upload their creations to and of course download from it. Hope to see there some nice compositions!

The other new feature is the ability to add random Jaleo (random Ole calls) to liven things up.

The update is of course free to existing users, just go to the AppStore and download it again, though the AppStore should notify you of the update by itself.

A metronome for 300$ ???WTF???!!

I use my mp3-player as metronome when Im not using my pc. I uploaded a couple of 10min compases in different speeds..

It works perfectly. Just a 50$ for the player and free loops from the foro... [;)]

sghaviv

Will it work on a standard ipod (like a nano)?

Thanks

Guy,
Do you have a demo on youtube? Or some jpegs thats how what this app looks like? I'd like a visual but for whatever reason I cannot access the apple store website.

nealf,

I didn't prepare a video. You can see a screen shot on my site tivstudio.com if if you like I can send you a few more screen shots. What the shots don't show you though is the sound...

Why buy the Herrerro Metronome for $300 if this does the trick.

My thoughts exactly, if you get an ipod touch and my app, it's still less than $300 (the Herrero is more like $350) and you end up with a much more useful device.

No. You need an ipod touch or an iphone. the ipod touch will not vibrate as it doesn't have that capability.
