rombsix -> Impossible chords from Gipsy Kings!!! (Jan. 7 2009 8:30:02)

Hey mates!

I've just been trying to come up with a GK tune (Luna de Fuego) by ear, and it turns out it has some IMPOSSIBLE chords! I have no clue how the hell they can play something like that, or think of composing it altogether! They have some very difficult-stretches that can only be played in the traditional sitting position. I've attached some photos for you to see what I'm talking about (I guess this is the first time you see what I look like clearly! A stud, now aren't I? [:D]).

I've also attached the part of the tune I'm talking about (should be renamed to .mp3 for it to work) and the chords that they use (should be renamed to .pdf for it to work).

Do you think there's some other way of playing this tune WITHOUT having to pull off such difficult chords? Am I missing something?

Gracias! [:D]

I don't think it is an impossible stretch, and the notes add up to that position. But here is a cheat:

Hey Ricardo,

I've already seen this video and started out learning the tune according to it, however, when I listened to the original again, I noticed that the guy was playing it incorrectly. It does sound close, but keeping in mind my OCPD traits, "close just doesn't cut it."
