Mobile call just received off a mate
"Still on for the weekend?"
"Yeh no problem. Hows you?"
"Good thanks, hows the flamingo coming on?"
Puzzled and then clicks "Erm yeh, good thanks, it flew off yesterday"
"Eh. what ya mean flew off?"
"As in the pink bird. It flew off from the back garden"
"What the hell ya talking about?"
"You asked me how the flamingo is doing. Flamingo is a bird"
"You know what I meant, that spanishy thing"
"Flamenco?"
"Yeh Flamingo"
"You Idiot............" ended call. Just got a text message 'What happened there' reply 'Flamingos on the phone line mate - bad signal'
Am in tears typing this. Makes me chuckle
