Montanadonn -> Flamenco in the U.S. (May 10 2004 0:23:00)

As a new member of Foro I would like take this opportunity to initiate a search for someone who has studied under Diego del Gastor in Moron de la Frontera, who now resides in the U.S. Unfortunately those that I did know have disappeared. I also would like to get in contact with my nearest flamenco neighbors in the western states who would care to communicate and interact. Donn Dale- St. Regis, Montana

Welcome Donn. Montana! looks like flamenco is spreading out. That's good.

Try Chuck Keyser http://users.aol.com/BuleriaChk/private/flamenco.html

and/or Evan Harrar http://www.gypsyflamenco.com/index.html

also try Agustin Rios Amaya (Diego's nephew) http://www.california.com/~agustin/index1.html

Good Luck!

Hi Donn and welcome

Who is it you are looking for ? Perhaps Estela will know as she lives in Moron and they all turn up there at some time or another. There are also a few other forums where the Moron crowd hang out and debate so furiously that most fear to enter into discussion. A Yahpo group called flamencodisc.
