Interesting stuff Jim - he's recorded loads! He has a website too www.luisreinaldos.com. which says he teaches. I'm wondering if all those youtube vids are a teaching aid for his students?

Too bad the stuff is locked and can’t be saved for offline use. I keep hearing about legal decisions that limit the ability of websites like YouTube to allow people to post copywrited stuff. I don’t think this type of thing will be online indefinitely.

There are so many examples of different chord forms, etc. that would be useful to see performed—far more than you see on instructional DVD’s. The guy must love Camaron.

hm... Perhaps you missed this post:

Pgh_flamenco -> Best Media Format (Apr. 9 2008 20:31:02)

Does anyone have a favorite format for sound and video clips? I found the .flv format to have many limitations, so I'm thinking about using mpg format instead. Anyone care to share their preferences and why--some basic pro's and con's would be great, too? TIA

Thanks Georg!

I have written it already in the older thread:

wmv, because you can slow it down with windows media player without changing the pitch. I don't see any cons.

Winamp can do this with a plugin, but it's not that stable. Also, the slowed audio has a reverberation in it that ruins the sound quality.

I'll give wmv a try.

Thanks again Georg.
