aarongreen -> Rameriz for sale (May 3 2004 13:06:24)

Hey Everybody,
I am helping a client of mine who has quit guitar entirely to sell his collection of guitars. I think what might be of interest to most people is his Rameriz, which is awesome. It is a '64 blanca, spruce top with pegs. The guitar is pretty much perfect. There is two hairline cracks in the back that have been fixed . One was by Rameriz, I am pretty sure and the other by someone else. They are stable and closed. The action is perfect and the sound is very seductive and can still kick it out. I think it's a great guitar and the best Rameriz blanca I have seen to date. The price is $5000. U.S. Any interested parties can contact me directly at agreen@aarongreenguitars.com

(I hope it's ok to post this here, if not then I apologize.)

Thanks!
aaron

Aaron,

I've got one from 1968. Cypress/spruce top with pegs. FM stamped on heel. Absolutely tremendos guitar and light as a feather.

If somebody's up for it, you should check it out. They are marvellous instruments.

Cheers
Jim.

I need to check but I am pretty sure the initials on the foot of the guitar are MM. I think the intials are probably not quite as relevant as some people make them out to be. There are probably great and lousy Rameriz guitars with everyone intials who has worked there over the years.

To my knowledge the initials were never on the label. Only Rameriz's signature.

Andy,

None on the lable, the makers initials are stamped (burned) onto the heel block inside the guitar.

Cheers
Jim.
