Do you know if there is a method to write notes between C and C# for example? Is there a word for this notes by the way?

Well, I guess that must be "quarter tones" as uses frequently in for instance Arabic music... Wikipedia has an article on it:

Not sure if you can use them in G.P.. If you don't find out, there may be a G.P forum out there...

Don't quote me on this but I'm somewhat sure that Guitar Pro cannot do this. I've searched the help section and there's nothing there concerning quarter tones.

It is tricky to do that, but there are bend and release functions. They seem to be able to hit the notes in between, but it is damn hard to find the right timing for it.

To point is i am transcribing a violin performance, and it sounds akward to notate an E when the sound is somewhere between E and F.

Have you tried a ¼ pre-bend? That seems to work fine but you can't do any ⅛ pre-bends.

A book I read that had true modal scales used stuff like "A+" for the note between A and Bb. So I guess you could try the same "C+". In old rock guitar transcriptions where they bend a note, you write the note like normal with a sort of "j" type line going up and away from the note head. Then there was the "ghost bend" where you held a note bending BEFORE plucking. In both cases you would use that "j" shape curved line, then the fraction or number of steps. For example bending a D note to sound like F, you say "j1,1/2" or if it was D to Eb you write "j1/2" or if it was between a D and Eb, you write "j 1/4" after the note head.

Ok now i found it. You have to adjust the note on both ends, to the same note. This way it doesnt "bend" the note, but just plays that quarter note for the whole time.
