Ricardo -> RE: Guitar Pro and inbetween notes (Feb. 29 2008 17:58:05)

A book I read that had true modal scales used stuff like "A+" for the note between A and Bb. So I guess you could try the same "C+". In old rock guitar transcriptions where they bend a note, you write the note like normal with a sort of "j" type line going up and away from the note head. Then there was the "ghost bend" where you held a note bending BEFORE plucking. In both cases you would use that "j" shape curved line, then the fraction or number of steps. For example bending a D note to sound like F, you say "j1,1/2" or if it was D to Eb you write "j1/2" or if it was between a D and Eb, you write "j 1/4" after the note head. Hope that helps.
