This is a picture of a six piece saddle setup that was included in a US eBay advertisement for a Pedro Maldonado guitar about six months ago.
Has anybody used a system like this, what are the advantages and disadvantages, etc.?

I am 99% sure that this is a product from Graph Tech that allows for piezo output. The saddles are actually NOT individually adjustable. They are just separated from each other in order to process the output of each string discretely.

The Carvin NS1 (nylon string synth access) has this kind of saddle.

I sent the picture to a tech/sales person at Graph Tech. Their version of this has black polymer saddles and is not yet available to the public--it can only be bought as an option from a specific manufacturer.

You're right; the saddles in the picture go with a piezo pickup system. It's probably part of a system made by RMC. LR Bags offers a similar system.

I didn't have any point of reference for a setup like this. Thanks for the input, rpguitar; and you're correct--these saddles are not adjustable.
