Hi
I am trying to learn to play flamenco guitar. My right hand strumming and picking techniques are improving as I am following instructional dvd's. However, I feel lost with my left hand. I am really keen to learn keys and scales to play solos over rythmn. Can anyone offer me advice on how where to find information on scales and how to go about learning them.
Cheers
=)

Try this link too

The Flamenco theory book on this site has the Scales (modes) with the Compas family and chord progressions -- If the link is broke email me and I will send it -- its free.

If you want the lowdown on how chords are built get this -- it easy to follow:
http://herso.freeservers.com/ebooks-jazz-chords.html

Also this software is good to find and get a visual of modes, scales and find any chord you can think of: http://www.microtools.de/gcplus/

I am looking for theory books, if anyone knows.
