I wish I could!
It's not very difficult for a guitar player to play both, but remember that Oud (as in Arab music in general) has 1/4 notes. Thus, more sounds. It's also fretless!
If you wanted to play guitar stuff on it, you need to skip a "fret" so you work it out on 1/2s. A bit confusing in the beginning, but it works [:)]
