Bogdan1980 -> Explain the rhythm please (Dec. 6 2007 18:23:18) Can someone help please with this? I'm not sure about the first chord with p and the rest with i up. Then I'm not sure with three consequtive strokes down with i. This all seams awkward and I would like to know if it's done for particular effect in Tarranta or is this just something Vicente does. (This is from Callejon de Luna by the way) Wouldn't it be easier to play this with i up and down strokes? Images are resized automatically to a maximum width of 800px

Bogdan1980 -> RE: Explain the rhythm please (Dec. 6 2007 19:46:19) Thanks, now while we're on Vicente, I'm sure you noticed he does a lot of slurs and legatos. Sometimes in Faucher's tabs you see something like second string second fret C# sluring to the eaights fret G and back. Is that possible or is it better played on the the first string. I mean some of these slurs are pretty wide, and makes me wonder if that's how Vicente plays them or is it just Faucher's idea?
