Ricardo -> Groovin (Nov. 10 2007 7:11:11)

Once again, I want to point out that rhythm is what really distinguishes a musician's level. These guys are best of the best...even if you don't like the electric guitar, you have to see what happens around 7 minutes into this.

Great find, thanks.
It's got to be true what you are saying.

Thanks Ricardo - when it started I was sceptical cos I don't really like electric, but I got hooked because the rhythm was so tight - no question where every note was placed. And I was sure there was a whole drumkit and kept looking for the rest of the percussion - amazing the variety of sounds that guy can get from one small drum.

Thanks ricardo, that was amazing. I never heard of Shawn Lane before but i saw that drummer do something similar with john mclaughlin in malaga. As Ailsa saya, its incredible what you can get out of one small drum.
Speakin' of incredible drums, i found this clip yesterday which is also amazing.
